CERTIFY YOUR FUTURE

The public's growing need for objective mortgage financing advice, combined with the rigorous standards demanded of MMBA certificants, has placed the MMBA certification program at the forefront of the mortgage financing profession in the state of Michigan.  Introduced this year, the MMBA Certification is rapidly becoming the most widely recognized mortgage financing credential among consumers statewide. In the absence of uniform state regulation of mortgage professionals, these credentials reassures the public that those mortgage professionals who are MMBA certificants have voluntarily agreed to adhere to high standards of competence and ethical practice.

Candidates for the MMBA certification have to complete a comprehensive financial curriculum and pass an examination that tests their knowledge of the components of mortgage financing.    Prior to certification, candidates also must provide evidence of mortgage-related work experience. Finally, candidates must sign an affidavit stating that they understand and agree to adhere to the Michigan Mortgage Brokers Association's Code of Ethics.

Congratulations!

CONGRATULATIONS CERTIFICATION RECIPIENT!

The Michigan Mortgage Brokers Association is proud to announce that the following members have obtained MMBA certification:

Colleen Lynema, CMLO, of Indigo Financial has achieved the Certified Master Loan Originator (CMLO) designation.

Terry Lund Mann, CAMA, of Amera Mortgage has achieved the Certified Advanced Mortgage Affiliate (CAMA) designation.  She is MMBA's first recipient of the CMA designation.

We offer our congratulations to Colleen, Terry and all of our MMBA members who have chosen to stand out in their profession by completing the designated coursework in MMBA's first-in-the-nation voluntary state certification program.

MMBA welcomes any members interested in obtaining their certification to visit the MMBA's website and learn more at our Certification Home Page
